Dermal fillers
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are clear, smooth gels which contain hyaluronic acid.
The science bit
Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the dermis of the skin. It is essential for the volume and elasticity of the skin. As we age, the natural hyaluronic acid content of our skin decreases. At the same time other skin changes occur as part of the ageing process, such as; Oil production and the water content of our skin decreases, causing dryness and dehydration. The skin also loses fat, leaving the skin less plump and lacking volume. The number of blood vessels supplying the outer layers of our skin also reduces resulting in dull, tired skin.

Natural ageing combined with external factors such as pollution, smoking and gravity means that our skin loses volume and elasticity which leads to the formation of lines and wrinkles.
How do dermal fillers work?
Dermal fillers are injected into the dermis of our skin to replace the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid. This introduces volume to areas where it has been lost and smoothes the unwanted lines and wrinkles on the skin’s surface.
The result?
Plumper, smoother, youthful skin.

Skin peels
What are skin peels?
Skin peels are a safe and effective way to rejuvenate and revitalise your skin.

Skin peels are used to treat a wide range of common skin conditions such as acne, skin pigmentation, dull tired skin and sun damage. They are also an excellent anti ageing treatment treatment, which can be used alone or in conjunction with other anti ageing injectable treatments like Botox and dermal fillers.
How do anti skin peels work?
Skin peels work by chemically exfoliating the outer layers of this skin to remove dead skin cells, unblock pores and remove impurities. This encourages new, healthy skin cells to come to the skin surface. The texture and smoothness of the skin is improved to leave it looking refreshed and glowing.
